W H A T D O E S V I N T A G E M E A N T O U S?
Folke Home considers an item to be vintage if it is thought to be made about 20 years prior to the current year. We especially like goods from the 60s or earlier. Vintage items on woodennickelhome.com have been carefully selected and purchased and are constantly searching for the next great piece. Each item has been around awhile and used, so there is probably going to be some evidence of wear. Folke Home avoids finds that have major issues, anything noteworthy will be mentioned (in the copy).
H O W S H O U L D I C A R E F O R M Y V I N T A G E I T E M?
We suggest hand washing all vintage cloth material and wiping wood items with a dust cloth. Do not use any form of furniture polish. A natural beeswax can be used periodically. Vintage dinnerware and glassware are suggested to be washed by hand unless otherwise noted in the product description. All melamine is dishwasher safe, but not microwavable.

A found item is a unique item offered exclusively through Folke Home. Each found item is unique, one-of-a-kind, and selected with care. We take a forgotten item that has great appeal save it from ending up in yet another landfill. We are about REUSE, REDUCE, REFURBISH, & RECYCLE.

Made goods are handcrafted items that are sourced from artists locally and from all around the country, including a few special items handcrafted by Folke Home. If you are a maker and artisan, drop us a line! Folke Home is always looking for creative, handmade pieces to add to our bohemian inspired collection.

All orders will be shipped via USPS, unless otherwise noted. Please allow 3-5 business days to process and ship your order. Due to varying demand and order volumes, processing times may vary. Custom orders, special requests, made-to-order, and larger volume orders may be subject to longer processing times. **Please note that processing and shipping times may run a bit longer throughout the holiday season and during sales and special promotions. If expedited shipping is needed, please contact us for a quote and more information.
Shipping charges will be calculated prior to checkout. We currently ship to the 50 U.S. states.
A 7.75% Sales Tax will be applied to all CA buyers.
All Domestic US shipping is by UPS or USPS. All orders are shipped from Ventura, CA
Domestic US shipping costs are calculated on the price of your order.
Furniture and Framed Artwork may incur additional shipping charges.
Unless noted otherwise, buyer pays for shipping.

Unfortunately, due to the large number of vintage items that we sell, we can not guarantee that the item is exactly what you may see in the photo. Color in person vs. color on a computer screen may differ, therefore we are unable to take returns on any vintage items. If you aren't sure about a piece, we recommend you visit our brick and mortar to see the item in person.
If you receive the incorrect item or it was damaged upon delivery, please contact us about rectifying the situation: FH must be notified of any damaged or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery.
Any custom orders, artwork, books and sale items are Final Sale.
SOME OF OUR PRODUCTS ARE ANTIQUE VINTAGE TEXTILES, THEY MAY HAVE BLEMISHES AND ARE WHAT GIVE THE PRODUCT IT'S UNIQUE QUALITY, THEREFORE THE PRODUCT CANNOT BE CONSIDERED DEFECTIVE.
